Upgrading your Mercedes-Benz without any appointment at the garage: On-demand features means flexible options that can be added separately to your driving experience whenever you need them. With our additional digital extras, the on-demand features, you have the opportunity to adapt your Mercedes-Benz to your wishes and needs at a later date. Simply select the digital extra that suits you and your life, and you will experience your vehicle in a new way. You can purchase on-demand features when ordering the vehicle or you may discover a world of possibilities even later whenever you want. Features are available via Mercedes-Benz Store - in web, app or even in your vehicle head unit. In Mercedes-Benz Store, customers can flexibly choose between a lifetime payment option and a subscription model (monthly/yearly) for most on-demand features. If you purchase on-demand features as part of your vehicle order, you will acquire the lifetime license to use them. On-demand features enable individual luxury, comfort, convenience and support in a true Mercedes-Benz style.
All cars come prepared ex-factory with built-in hardware and software per default what can be activated later. The preparation is carried out at our own economic risk and there will be no double payment for the customer for the blindly installed components. Of course, you only pay for what you use and you always pay the same price, regardless of whether you add features when you buy the car or later. On-demand features also benefit second owners of the vehicles, who can individually configure their used vehicles in the same way as new vehicles.
