The all-new CLA is the first combustion vehicle on the new Mercedes-Benz Modular Architecture (MMA). The innovative architecture is created as a new base for maximum flexibility between combustion and electric drive and is therefore prepared to accommodate two different drivetrains. The combustion version of the all-new CLA will be available as a mild hybrid, featuring 48-volt-technology. It is also particularly flexible when it comes to the option of two-wheel or all-wheel drive.

With the all-new Mercedes-Benz Operating System, MB.OS, the all-new CLA is taking the next big step in the digitisation of vehicles. Thanks to its new chip-to-cloud architecture the CLA connects powertrain, infotainment and various other systems, while constantly staying up-to-date via over-the-air updates. Paired with the UNITY 3D-engine this setup provides the groundwork for our new MBUX Surround Navigation – a 3D real-time visualization of navigation combined with driver assistance. Further it allows for on-demand booking of e.g. entertainment or driving assistance features and with a multitude of voice commands you can address to our new MBUX Virtual Assistant. Using the power of AI it will not only respond empathatically to your voice but also makes interaction more intuitively than ever before in a Mercedes-Benz.
