• The Mercedes-AMG GLA 45 S 4MATIC+ exudes sportiness even at a standstill with its AMG-specific grille, AMG Night Package, and new light signature. The interior matches this prowess with its AMG Performance Seat Package Advanced, AMG Performance steering wheel, and cutting-edge MBUX infotainment system.
• Adorned with a new front apron design and new signature MULTIBEAM headlights and LED rear lights, the Mercedes-AMG GLB 35 4MATIC showcases a refreshed look. It now features a belt-driven starter generator (RSG) and an additional 48-volt on-board power supply for improved responsiveness and efficiency.
Exterior
The redesigned front bumper with visual underbody protection points to its off-road genes. The SUV radiator grille with four horizontal louvres on the GLB 200 underlines this impression. The GLB 250 4MATIC sports a radiator grille with single louvres and chrome inserts. The GLB also features a revised front apron with geometry design. The athletic shoulder shape, with coherently modelled side graphics, creates an interesting interplay of light and shadow and a visually width-accentuated rear end. The GLB 200 has a Progressive Line exterior whereas the GLB 250 4MATIC has an AMG Line exterior.
With Night Package equipped, various trim parts are finished in high-gloss black, such as the louvres of the radiator shell, the trim elements on the front and rear apron, the roof railing, exterior mirror housing, beltline and window line trim strip, and simulated underguard at the front and rear. Exclusive to the GLB 250 4MATIC are the AMG front apron with front splitter and AMG rear apron visible tailpipe trim in high-gloss black.
New striking full-LED headlights and rear lights enhance the appearance, with the range of options now expanded with a new Spectral Blue Metallic paint colour. The LED High Performance headlamps feature Adaptive Highbeam Assist which automatically switches on the high beams if it does not detect any illuminated vehicles ahead or in oncoming traffic. The new GLB 200 is fitted with 18-inch 5-twin-spoke light-alloy wheels and the GLB 250 4MATIC has 19-inch AMG 5-twin-spoke light-alloy wheels.
Mercedes-AMG GLA 45 S 4MATIC+
With 310 kW (421 hp) of output, the Mercedes-AMG GLA 45 S 4MATIC+ has a powerful engine. The compact SUV sprints from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.3 seconds. The AMG Driver's Package allows drivers to raise the top speed limit to 270 km/h for an even sportier driving experience. In addition to its impressive output, the AMG 2.0-litre turbocharged engine also boasts spontaneous response. Power is transmitted via the agile AMG SPEEDSHIFT DCT 8G. AMG RIDE CONTROL with adaptive damping offers a widespread between comfortable and very sporty set-up. With the 3 levels Comfort, Sport, or Sport+ drivers can change the suspension characteristics with just one operation.
The fully variable all-wheel drive AMG Performance 4MATIC+ with AMG TORQUE CONTROL contribute significantly to the dynamic driving experience. The rear axle gearbox features two electronically controlled multi-plate clutches, each of which is connected to a drive shaft on the rear axle. This design means that the engine power is not only distributed variably between the front and rear axles, but also selectively between the left and right rear wheels.
Mercedes-AMG is upgrading its compact Performance SUV with visual and technical innovations for the exterior and interior. The distinguishing feature of the Mercedes-AMG exterior is the newly shaped front apron and the AMG crest on the bonnet. The new light signature for the MULTIBEAM LED headlights and the LED rear lights adds subtle visual accents. Adaptive Highbeam Assist Plus delivers continuous main beam without dazzling oncoming traffic by blocking out oncoming traffic or traffic ahead.
Viewed from the side, the wheel arch extensions emphasise the vehicle’s powerful character. These components are now painted in the colour of the body. The AMG Aerodynamics Package present on the AMG GLA 45 S 4MATIC+ has been developed in the wind tunnel to improve handling at high speeds and provides the basis for even greater driving enjoyment. At the rear, the round twin tailpipe trim and the spoiler lip on the roof reveal that this is the most powerful version of the GLA family.
With the AMG Night Package, exterior elements such as front splitter, beltline and windowline trim strips, and exterior mirror housings are finished in high-gloss black. Adding to the sportiness of the vehicle are 21-inch AMG multi-spoke light-alloy wheels painted in matt black with high-sheen rim flange and the red-painted brake callipers. The panoramic sliding sunroof provides a genuine open-air ambience and when viewed from the outside, the large sliding sunroof makes a unique visual impression. Surround lighting with projection of brand logo illuminates the front entry area when the doors are open providing comfort while entering and exiting the vehicle. Interior
The spacious interior of the GLB combines high everyday practicality and variability with a modern high-tech ambience. It can accommodate up to 7 vehicle occupants in the compact SUV. One of the highlights of the significantly upgraded interior is the freestanding double screen. The GLB comes with 10.25-inch wide-screen displays for the respective instrument cluster and multimedia screens. The round air vents in turbine look convey sporty elegance and contrast with the straight-lined, off-road-typical interior elements in aluminium. The new multifunction sports steering wheel is upholstered in leather on the GLB 200 and Nappa leather on the GLB 250 4MATIC. For further connectivity, the GLB now has an additional USB-C port and increased USB charging power while all USB ports are illuminated.

Its briefly available additional power of 10 kW supports agile starting and is used for faster acceleration via boost. The starter-generator also increases comfort: in addition to low-vibration and low-noise engine starting, it enables coasting with the combustion engine switched off. In addition, it recuperates during braking and acceleration – and in this way supplies the 12-volt on-board network and the 48-volt battery with electrical energy.

Mercedes-AMG GLB 35 4MATIC
The Mercedes-AMG GLB 35 4MATIC is fitted with the belt-driven starter generator (RSG) and an additional 48-volt on-board power supply. The second-generation RSG functions as a mild hybrid. In addition to the temporary power boost of 10 kW (14 PS), it permits such functions as coasting and recuperation for greater efficiency. The 48-volt technology also improves comfort, with the transitions of the start/stop and coasting function barely noticeable. The 225 kW (306hp) output of the agile, high-torque 2.0 liter 4-cylinder turbo engine is distributed to all four wheels via the AMG SPEEDSHIFT DCT 8G transmission and the AMG Performance 4MATIC all-wheel drive. The sporty driving performance is combined with a wide range of driving experience modes, from highly dynamic to smooth touring. This performance vehicle is able to achieve an acceleration of 0 to 100 km/h in 5.5 seconds and a top speed of 250 km/h.
