Complementing the competition was a week designed to go well beyond the fairways. MercedesTrophy is a once-in-a-lifetime experience, and the participating golfers were hosted throughout, from their arrival in Germany to their departure. They competed at the five-star Der Öschberghof in the Black Forest, with views overlooking Lake Constance and the Swiss Alps. They also travelled to Stuttgart, the birthplace of the automobile, to visit the Mercedes-Benz Museum, followed by a visit to the Mercedes-Benz plant in Sindelfingen. For the golfers, it was a chance to see the brand up close, something that comes with being a Mercedes-Benz customer.
Adding to the occasion was the presence of Global Mercedes-Benz Brand Ambassador Bernhard Langer, a two-time Masters champion and partner of Mercedes-Benz since 1985. Reflecting a longstanding partnership built on dedication, discipline, and the pursuit of perfection, he joined the World Final programme, where participants had the opportunity to take part in the “Beat Bernhard Langer” challenge and test their skills against one of golf’s most respected figures.
