MercedesTrophy returns in full swing, driving passion for perfection

‎KUALA LUMPUR - Mercedes-Benz Malaysia today announced the return of the highly-anticipated MercedesTrophy. Currently in its 34th year, the tournament series allows customers to experience the Mercedes-Benz brand through their passion for golf.

The MercedesTrophy is a worldwide amateur golf series held exclusively for Mercedes-Benz Malaysia customers who share an enthusiasm for the sport. Hosting over 60,000 golfers in more than 60 countries every year, the tournament series is one of the most coveted events annually.

 

This year’s competition will be played in four qualifying rounds with the first taking place at the Kuala Lumpur Golf & Country Club on 14 May 2024. The winners of each round will then meet for the National Final which will be held once again, at the breathtaking The ELS Club Desaru Coast, Johor on 20 June 2024.

 

The winners of each round will meet for the National Final on 20 June 2024 and the top three finishing finalists with highest stableford points from each category in the National Final will qualify for the MercedesTrophy World Final taking place from 29th September to 3rd October 2024 in Stuttgart, Germany - the birthplace of the automobile and Mercedes-Benz.

In an effort to promote the perfect drive, the first player to achieve a Hole-In-One on any of the two designated par-3 holes at each venue will win the Mecedes-Benz EQE 350+ 4MATIC, worth RM 419,888. Price is on the road without insurance.

    

In addition to that, “Drive to the Major” is a unique competition exclusive to Mercedes-Benz and offered worldwide. The finalist who achieves the straightest drive or is nearest to the line is declared the winner of the "Drive to the Major" competition at the MercedesTrophy National Final Malaysia. The winner will receive a once-in-a-lifetime experience with an all-expenses-paid trip to The Open 2024, taking place from 17th to 22nd July 2024.
