MercedesTrophy is an international amateur golf tournament series exclusively for Mercedes-Benz Malaysia customers who share an enthusiasm for the game. Since its debut in 1991, the tournament has evolved into one of the most prestigious amateur competitions worldwide, welcoming over 60,000 golfers annually across more than 60 countries.
This year’s tournament will commence with four qualifying rounds starting on 12 May 2026. Winners from the qualifying rounds will then advance to compete at the National Final, which will take place on 22 June 2026 at The ELS Club Desaru Coast, Johor.

The top three players with the highest Stableford scores at the National Final will represent Malaysia at the MercedesTrophy World Final from 28 September to 2 October 2026 in Germany, the birthplace of the automobile 140 years ago and home of Mercedes-Benz.
Elevating the excitement on the greens, the first golfer to achieve a Hole-In-One on either of the two designated par-3 holes at each tournament venue will win the Mercedes-Benz E 350 e, valued at RM 427,888 (on-the-road price without insurance).
The coveted “Drive to the Major” title will also be contested, a global competition exclusive to Mercedes-Benz. At the MercedesTrophy National Final Malaysia, the golfer delivering the straightest drive closest to the centre line will be recognised as the winner and awarded a once-in-a-lifetime experience: an all-expenses-paid trip to The Open 2026, taking place from 15 to 20 July 2026.
