Exterior highlights

 

The new GLC 200 4MATIC is immediately recognisable as a member of the Mercedes-Benz SUV family. The expressive styling of the AMG Line lends the exterior a sporty, exclusive touch. As such you can make a clear statement of powerful design. The AMG bodystyling consists of AMG front apron with sporty air intakes and chrome trim element and diffuser-look AMG rear apron.

 

The new GLC 200 4MATIC is also equipped with polished aluminium roof rails and aluminium-look running boards with rubber studs. Other features of the sporty, confident appearance are the wide track, flush 20-inch AMG 5-spoke light-alloy wheels, and the radiator grille with Mercedes-Benz pattern. The two-section rear lights have an interior with a three-dimensional look and emphasise the width of the rear end. This too has a simulated chrome underguard, which encases the simulated chrome-look tailpipes.

 

For driving visibility and safety, the new GLC 200 4MATIC is equipped with LED High Performance headlamps with Adaptive Highbeam Assist, ensuring consistent clarity across varying conditions. Surround lighting with a projection of brand logo elevates the vehicle’s presence, creating a stylish welcome as you approach.

Interior highlights

 

The new GLC 200 4MATIC features an AMG Line interior lending the cabin a sporty look. The numerous highlights of the AMG Line include ARTICO man-made leather upholstery in black, instrument panel and beltlines in ARTICO man-made leather in nappa look, multifunction sports steering wheel in nappa leather, and the AMG sports pedals. These equipment features ensure a dynamic interior design and underscore sporty driving style. The cabin is further elevated with Anthracite linestructure lime wood trim and a centre console in metal-structure finish. The 12.3-inch high-resolution driver display appears to float elegantly ahead of the wing profile and trim area, while the 11.9-inch central display rises seamlessly from the centre console, creating a clean, uninterrupted surface. Both displays are slightly angled towards the driver for intuitive control.

 

Every detail underscores the new GLC 200 4MATIC’s high standards. For example, it comes with MBUX (Mercedes-Benz User Experience) infotainment system featuring MBUX Navigation Premium and MBUX Augmented Reality Navigation for enhanced route guidance. Additionally, the Parking Package with a 360-degree camera and Active Parking Assist with PARKTRONIC simplifies manoeuvring, while the transparent bonnet view in off-road mode enhances visibility in challenging terrain.

Convenience is taken to the next level with EASY-PACK tailgate, KEYLESS-GO, HANDS-FREE ACCESS, wireless charging in the front, and six fast-charging USB-C ports. The Boot Comfort Package, featuring electrically folding rear seat backrests and a 12 V socket adds practicality when loading cargo.

Cabin comfort is further enhanced by THERMATIC automatic climate control, heat and noise-insulating acoustic glass, as well as roller sunblinds for the left and right rear windows. These are complemented by 64-colour ambient lighting and illuminated door sills with ‘Mercedes-Benz’ lettering with an exchangeable cover, enriching the cabin with a welcoming atmosphere that blends personalisation, refinement, and visual elegance. The new GLC 200 4MATIC is offered as a mild hybrid with 48-volt technology and an integrated starter-generator of the second generation. The engine has a four-cylinder unit from the current FAME (Family of Modular Engines) Mercedes-Benz engine family and delivers 204 hp and 320 Nm of torque through its all-wheel-drive system ensuring confident, effortless performance across any terrain.

 

Ride quality is refined through the AGILITY CONTROL suspension, which balances precise handling with comfort. The passive selective damping system ensures a superior driving experience on any road surface because it automatically optimises the ride characteristics, damping effect, and stabilisation.

 

Advanced safety technologies provide peace of mind at every turn. The Active Lane Keeping Assist is an attentive observer constantly keeping an eye on the lane guidance. If a potential danger is detected, the assistance system can actively intervene and perform a course-correcting steering intervention. Other notable safety systems include Blind Spot Assist, Active Brake Assist, the PRE-SAFE® system, and many more.
