Mercedes-Benz Malaysia today announced a strategic partnership with DC Handal, a Malaysian provider of electric vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure and energy solutions, to launch a new EV charging hub at Bamboo Hills, Kuala Lumpur. The initiative marks a significant milestone in the brand’s efforts to strengthen its nationwide charging infrastructure while supporting Malaysia’s transition towards sustainable mobility.

‎• Mercedes-Benz Malaysia has expanded its EV charging network through a strategic partnership with DC Handal, launching the brand’s sixth branded hub at Bamboo Hills, Kuala Lumpur.

• The Bamboo Hills hub brings sustainable mobility closer to customers by combining charging access with one of Kuala Lumpur’s most vibrant lifestyle destinations, making EV ownership more convenient and enjoyable.

• Mercedes-Benz Malaysia will continue to strengthen its charging footprint with more locations planned nationwide by the end of 2025, ensuring reliable access and a seamless ownership journey for EV drivers.

The Bamboo Hills charging hub was delivered in collaboration with Hap Seng Star, one of Mercedes-Benz Malaysia’s key retail partners, as part of the company’s ongoing plan to broaden charging access in partnership with its retail network. By placing charging facilities at high-traffic lifestyle destinations such as Bamboo Hills, the brand is enhancing accessibility and convenience for EV owners. Having partnerships already established with leading operators including JomCharge, ChargeEV, Gentari, and P.UP, the Bamboo Hills now becomes the sixth Mercedes-Benz branded charging location in the country under this strategy.

Recognising the growing shift toward electric vehicles, Mercedes-Benz Malaysia continues to elevate its infrastructure through a multi-channel charging strategy that supports customers wherever they choose to charge.
