Mercedes-Benz Malaysia unveils Southeast Asia’s first and only Mercedes-AMG ONE Service Hub at Hap Seng Star Bukit Tinggi, marking a significant milestone in the company’s regional aftersales capabilities and positioning Malaysia as a key service destination for the highly exclusive, Formula 1-derived hypercar.

With an investment of RM 2.2 million, the purpose-built facility joins a select global network of Mercedes-AMG ONE Service Hubs spanning Germany, Switzerland, the Middle East (Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Kuwait), and Japan. Working alongside the existing hub in Japan, the Malaysian facility leverages the nation's multi-modal connectivity and strategic logistics infrastructure to support customers across Southeast Asia with specialised servicing capabilities, factory-grade Affalterbach technical infrastructure, and direct coordination with Mercedes-AMG specialists.

The debut of the service hub reflects Mercedes-Benz Malaysia’s continued investment in specialised aftersales expertise, reinforcing the brand’s commitment to delivering customer experiences that extend beyond vehicle performance to encompass technical excellence, customer confidence, and long-term care.

Developed with technology derived directly from Formula 1, the Mercedes-AMG ONE transfers a full-fledged Formula 1 hybrid powertrain from the racetrack into a road-legal vehicle. Its E PERFORMANCE hybrid drive combines a 1.6-litre V6 turbo engine with four electric motors to deliver a total system output of over 1,063 hp and revs up to 11,000 rpm. With only 275 units available globally, the Mercedes-AMG ONE demands an ownership and service experience as exceptional as the vehicle itself.

The Mercedes-AMG ONE Service Hub at Hap Seng Star Bukit Tinggi has been engineered specifically around these requirements. Its dedicated infrastructure includes specialised high-voltage tools and safety procedures, vehicle-specific diagnostic equipment, controlled vehicle storage and working conditions, and direct technical coordination with Mercedes-AMG specialists.

The facility’s Malaysia-based team of technicians have undergone specialised training and are certified by Mercedes-AMG, qualifying them to perform approved diagnostic, maintenance, and service procedures for the Mercedes-AMG ONE. This combination of dedicated infrastructure and expertise allows the technical team to safeguard the vehicle’s performance, safety, and engineering integrity.

Malaysia’s strategic location and strong connectivity by land, sea, and air make it an ideal base for co-ordinating the movement of vehicles, parts, tools, and technical resources across the Asia-Pacific region. Complementing the existing Service Hub in Japan, the new facility strengthens regional service coverage and enhances support for Mercedes-AMG ONE owners throughout the region.

The proximity optimises inventory management and parts distribution, which helps to minimise downtime for replacement parts and maintenance requirements while enhancing overall responsiveness.

In addition, the facility is designed to deliver a comprehensive, customer-centric service experience through several key capabilities:
• In-country technical Flying Doctors: On-ground technical specialists providing immediate, first-level response across the region.
• Seamless international communication: Dedicated liaison officers facilitating clear, efficient communication and personalised support for international and regional clientele.
• End-to-end digital ecosystem: A mature, integrated digital service framework enabling transparent, real-time diagnostic reporting and elevated customer experience.

The development of specialised high-value automotive services also supports the broader objectives of the Thirteenth Malaysia Plan (2026–2030), particularly its focus on bolstering Malaysia’s high-value services sector and enhancing the country’s regional competitiveness.
