What qualifications do I need?
An interest in the motor industry is essential and ideally you will be predicted, or have achieved, minimum 3 credits in SPM or equivalent. All successful applicants will also be required to complete aptitude tests to help ensure the programme can offer you the support you need. Face to face interviews will be conducted to ensure we recruit the best potential candidates nationwide.
How do I apply?
To apply for an Apprenticeship with Mercedes-Benz, please visit www.mb4.me/ama or click ‘apply’ and complete the form. Submit online with a copy of your NRIC and latest high school results.
What happens with my application?
Once applications have been reviewed, shortlisted applicants meeting the initial criteria will be contacted for aptitude testing. Applicants who progress through this stage will be invited to attend an interview which take place in 5 regional locations.
What do the assessments involve?
First stage: The assessment consist of Mechanical and Technical Understanding Test (MTVT) as well as 5 aptitudes test
Second stage: Candidates successfully passing the 1st stage will attend a face to face interview.
When will I know my results from the assessments?
Result from the assessments will be announce by 3rd week of July each year via phone and email.
How long will the application process take?
Vacancies are advertised from March onwards, intake is the first week of September each year. This may sound like a long time but don’t worry, you will be kept informed of your progress on a regular basis throughout the process.
