Macdonald launched his own label in 1998 with ‘Mermaids’ a static presentation of his designs styled by Isabella Blow and there began his reputation as a leading British fashion designer whose high octane and glamorous designs were soon to be coveted by international stars such as Kate Beckinsale, Beyoncé, Kristen Stewart, Madonna, Liv Tyler, Heidi Klum, Kim Kardashian, Rihanna, Karen Elson, Katy Perry, Naomi Campbell, Taylor Swift and Miley Cyrus to name but a few.

In 2001, Macdonald was named at the Elle style awards British Designer of the Year and the same year he was appointed as successor to Alexander McQueen as creative director of the French fashion house Givenchy, designing both haute couture and ready-to-wear collections.

Again in 2003 Julien received the British Glamour Designer of the Year award and GQ Womenswear Designer of the Year, a further nod to his status as an important member of British fashion. It didn’t stop there as Julien was also nominated a year later at the Olivier awards for his costume designs for the Richard Alston dance company’s ‘Shimmer’ at Sadler’s wells theatre.

In 2004 Julien decided to focus on his own label and shows but being such a coveted designer he was asked to overhaul the British Airways uniform bringing it into the 21st century and firmly putting the glamour back into flying. His iconic designs are still visible today on British Airways staff worldwide.

In 2006 Julien was awarded an Order of the British Empire for his services to the fashion industry and is proud to represent the British people and country as a whole.

Following the launch of his atelier in February 2013 Julien’s show themed ‘Viva Las Vegas at London Fashion Week was an eagerly anticipated and celebrity packed fashion extravaganza which firmly confirmed him as the King of Glamour.

His most recent collaboration was with the English National Ballet for the Queen’s coronation festival where Julien designed the costumes for the world famous ballet company performing ‘tempus’.

Julien’s career has in recent years extended beyond the catwalk and into broadcast media, including the top rated ‘Britain’s Next Top Model’ and he is regularly called upon to communicate his definitive perspective on fashion and culture through both radio and television.

He opened his first high-end boutique in 1983, going on to represent Singapore in “The Best of Asian Designers”, “The Best of Best” and “The Premier Designer Show” in 1985. In 1986, he started “Mixables”, the first career wear line for women in Singapore by a Singapore Designer. The success of Mixables led to helming diffusion lines: Pretá, Sino and bridal gown label ‘Made in Heaven’. Highly regarded as Singapore’s fashion legend and ‘the grand master of precision tailoring’, Wee’s style is instantly recognizable through his impeccable workmanship, cutting edge 3D forms and innovation in his apparel.

Francis Libiran

Francis Libiran’s love for couture started at a young age, his early experiences in dealing with fashion took place alongside his mother, Rebecca, whose own sense of personal style and elegance became a major influence for him. An alumni of the prestigious University of Santo Tomas, he studied Architecture before aiming for a course in Fashion Design at the Fashion Institute of the Philippines. Enamored by his love for fashion and artistry, Francis Libiran continuously pursues his dream as a soldier for the arts, bringing pride, honor, and glory to the Philippines.

This A-List Filipino designer is the newest couturier to be featured in Hollywood Supermodel Tyra Bank’s long-running reality TV show “America’s Next Top Model British Invasion.” His remarkable Hello Kitty Couture Collection, seen in the April 2012 episode of ANTM Cycle 18, was so impressive that it paved his way to design dresses and gowns for Tyra Banks, which led her to be hailed ‘best dressed’ in many red carpet events. Later, on the 12th episode of America’s Next Top Model Season 22, Francis Libiran made a comeback wherein his collection called “Creatures of the Night” was featured.

The men’s clothes were themed as “hunters” while the women’s clothes were themed as “hunted”. The episode was, indeed, a celebration of Filipino talent making waves abroad.

Francis Libiran stepped into another pedestal when he held his first fashion gala at the Grand Lobby of Manila Hotel, the oldest and historical luxury hotel in the Philippines, during its Centennial Celebration. For a once-in-a-lifetime event, Francis Libiran launched his ‘100 Collection’ making use of purely Filipino fibers such as pineapple, banana and precious embellishments such as the mother of pearl.

In that same year, Francis Libiran was the lone representative of the Philippines in the annual fashion show held at held at the Tokyo Tower, Japan. With his Sakura Collection, Francis Libiran perfectly executed his own rendition of Japan’s National Dress, the Kimono, infused with the Philippines’ Maria Clara which became the most-applauded collection during the festival.

In October of 2013, Francis Libiran impressed international fashion crowds during Portland, Oregon's version of Fashion Week called “FashioNXT” where he premiered his Spring/Summer 2014 Collection. FashioNXT aims to anticipate what’s next in fashion and lifestyle. According to Time Magazine, it is ranked as the number 1 show in the US outside New York Fashion Week.

Another feather to his cap, Francis Libiran once again made headlines when he created the winning gown of Miss World 2013 Megan Young - the first representative of the Philippines in almost 50 years to win the prestigious title.

Sebastian Gunawan

A life dedicated to inspire and be inspired by women seems to be a pre destined matter for Sebastian Gunawan. From mere hobby, this talent was then honed by a degree in fashion design at the Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising in Los Angeles. The glamorous air of Hollywood seems to be a starting point for his design inspirations, something that was later honed at Milan's famed Instituto Morangoni.

After finishing his formal education, he then came back to Indonesia to establish his own label under ‘SEBASTIANGUNAWAN’ in 1993. In the same year represented Indonesia at the prestigious "Young Fashion Designers Contest".
