We think one step further so you can drive further.

At the heart of the new EQC is an innovative high-voltage lithium-ion battery. However, the efficient and intelligent use of energy is just as important as its production. Only through this does the new EQC achieve a range of up to 450km*.

Calmly into the future: the new EQC offers you maximum planning certainty en route. A wealth of information - such as the fastest route, the electric range, the route characteristics, the current electrical consumption and the charging infrastructure - can be networked. An ideal and time-efficient route is then suggested to you, including charging stops if necessary. As well as including conventional charging stations in the planning, the EQ-optimised navigation also gives preference to rapid charging stations so that you can reach your destination as quickly as possible.

An anticipatory driving style can substantially reduce electrical consumption and thus increase the electric range. The ECO Assist helps you to do this by giving you an early visual warning, advising you to ease off the accelerator. If there is a speed limit, a junction or a downhill gradient ahead, for example. Efficiency is further boosted by other functions such as 'Sailing' and targeted control of recuperation.

You can have a wealth of data displayed in the vehicle and on your smartphone - so you always know the current charge status. This way you can receive push notifications at the start and end of the charging process in addition to information about the current battery charge level. This optimises your planning and makes it easier to incorporate the new EQC into your daily routine.

You can fully personalise the driving experience in the new EQC whenever you wish. A range of driving programs allows dynamic, comfortable or efficient driving - the choice is yours.

The new EQC leaves no source of energy untapped. Even when slowing down by coasting or braking, the electric motor converts kinetic energy into electrical energy and can thus charge the EQC's high-voltage battery while on the move. The recuperation output can be adjusted manually using the shift paddles.

 

The ECO Assist helps to optimise the response to the driving situation, reduce the speed on time and thus support efficient recuperation.

An optimum feel-good climate from the moment you get in: thanks to the range of pre-entry climate control options. The interior can be warmed or cooled as required purely electrically by means of the high-voltage battery. Even with no noticeable loss of range during charging. You can also define your departure time and adjust the pre-entry climate control accordingly using your smartphone from the comfort of your own home or while en route.

Upholstery and materials

You feel the thrill of electric mobility at first hand in the interior. A seat fabric in a lightly iridescent hue that radiates all the vehicle's modernity has been developed for the EQC.

Alongside the black ARTICO man-made leather/blue Sunnyvale fabric upholstery, elegant rosé gold highlights emphasise the progressive luxury in the cockpit.

Widescreen Cockpit

The instrument display and the multimedia display combine to create a Widescreen Cockpit beneath a high-quality glass cover.

A uniquely sophisticated, high-quality look and feel. The information is shown in high resolution and in colour, augmented by elaborate animations. Furthermore, the content can be positioned as required and operated intuitively by touch or voice control.

You can watch your own mini-sunrise on every trip in the new EQC.

  • Artificial intelligence

    The MBUX artificial intelligence actually means something very human: namely an almost blind understanding of the driver and his or her preferences. The system gets to know you better with every drive and can set the radio station, navigation route or temperature to suit you, for example.

    The image shows the interior design of the Mercedes-Benz EQC with the focus on the Widescreen Cockpit.

    MBUX offers you maximum freedom to control numerous functions in the way most comfortable for you. With intuitive touch control, for example. The new EQC comes with the option of a multimedia display with touchscreen, while the centre console includes an integral touchpad that responds to single and multiple-finger gestures as well as handwriting. It is also possible to control the displays using Touch Control buttons on the steering wheel.

    "Hey Mercedes." Saying these two initial words starts the natural, intuitive voice control system. It responds to almost every word. The system can even process indirect speech – the air conditioning will respond, e.g. to "I feel cold" and increase the temperature setting. At the same time the voice control also has learning capability. It attunes itself to your voice, and also understands non-native speakers better.

  • Augmented Video
    The image shows the Augmented Reality Video function on the multimedia display in the Mercedes-Benz EQC.

    Thanks to Augmented Video it is easier to find your way around the navigation environment. The optionally available system networks the virtual and real world: graphic navigation and traffic information appears on the live images. A camera in the windscreen registers the area in front of the vehicle and shows either the video or a stationary image on the multimedia display. In addition, practical graphical tips such as traffic lights, house numbers, street names or points of interest (POI) are incorporated into the recording.
