Billed by organisers as the “Monaco of the East”, the Singapore GP offers a wider and faster track, and more overtaking opportunities than the European street race.

All the action will take place on the exciting and vibrant night of 28th September 2008, when world famous drivers take to the public roads around the Marina Bay area and race around the island’s historical landmarks.

Being the first ever night race, the flood-lit street circuit requires powerful lighting systems to replicate daylight conditions, and stringent safety protocols will be applied for driver and spectator safety.

Also set up specially for this event, is a permanent pit area with deluxe paddock facilities, built adjacent to the existing Singapore Flyer complex, and grandstand seating and hospitality areas lining the track, which can accommodate more than 80,000 spectators.
