Mercedes-Benz OpenHaus

1 to 31 August 2007

DaimlerChrysler Malaysia, together with its dealers, organised a Mercedes-Benz OpenHaus in commemoration of Malaysia’s 50th independence anniversary celebration.

During the Mercedes-Benz OpenHaus celebration, a comprehensive line-up of Mercedes-Benz models was made available for test drive every weekend from 1 to 31 August 2007, at all of the Mercedes-Benz Autohaus showrooms. The public had the opportunity to sample the driving characteristics of different Mercedes-Benz models.

A private tours of the workshop was also provided to those who are interested in order for these customers to have a better understanding of the extensive Mercedes-Benz after-sales facilities and services.

Alongside these activities, children were also able to enjoy hours of fun and games at the MobileKids corner at selected Mercedes-Benz Autohaus showrooms. Mobile Kids, the multiplayer network, is DaimlerChrysler’s global initiative to instill the values of road safety awareness and fair play into children. Various activities had been planned out for the children such as road sign memory games, online and offline Mokitown computer games, and coloring activities. These activities were specially created to help participants sharpen their gaming skills, improve their road safety knowledge and teach them how to be an active and responsible citizen.

At the same time, complementary Mercedes-Benz lifestyle collections worth up to RM5,000 were made available for selected models.

“We are pleased to be able to join in this memorable occasion of Malaysia’s 50th birthday by opening our Autohaus to all whom are interested to step into the world of Mercedes-Benz. To add to the excitement, we will be offering our visitors the opportunity to view and test a more comprehensive range of latest models, as well as participate in the activities there. Basically, we just want our customers to enjoy a fun and relaxing weekend with us,” said Florian Mueller, Vice President of Sales and Marketing, DaimlerChrysler Malaysia.
