The series starts with invitation tournaments at a local level where Mercedes-Benz owners can qualify for the national final of the country in question or subsequently the regional final. The climax of the series is then the world final, which for years has been held traditionally in and around Stuttgart, Germany the birthplace of the motorcar, where both the best individual players and the best team are decided during a three-day tournament. The World Final itself is not only a sports highlight but it also captivates people with its unique atmosphere.
The international character of the MercedesTrophy can be seen in its wide range of participants as every year finalists from 30 different nations travel to Stuttgart for the World Final.
