| Mercedes-Benz Malaysia inaugurated its new Training and Vehicle Preparation Center located at Glenmarie (Shah Alam) on August 22, 2003.
The new Training Center, which replaces the training center that was first established by Cycle & Carriage Bintang Bhd in 1984 with the support of DaimlerAG, is now equipped with state-of-the-art training aids and audio-video facilities.
In keeping with its leadership position, a new Automotive Mechatronic Course was introduced in 2003. The course is a three-year apprenticeship program that emphasizes the "life long learning" concept, which is central to the training methodology adopted at the center.
To-date, 450 trainees have graduated from the Training Center. As testimony of the superior quality of this training program, our trainees have won numerous Championship awards at the Malaysia National Skill Competition (Automotive Trade Segment) since 1993. |
