The M-Class is not just comfortable, it is also a transport genius. The load compartment is a veritable quick-change artist. No wonder that its load concept is considered to be the most exceptional in its segment.

With a volume of 551 litres, the M-Class can transport a fair amount in the regular load compartment. If you need more space, you can fold down the backrest of the rear bench seat, with its 1:2 split, and then stand the seat cushions upright. Opting for removable seat cushions allows you to create a load area which measures up to 2.1 metres in length and has a capacity of 2050 litres, in accordance with VDA measuring methods.

Should you need even more space, a removable rear bench seat is available as an option – resulting in a load capacity of 2162 litres. Whichever option you choose, the folding load compartment floor makes loading and unloading easier. You can batten down your freight using the six standard load-securing rings. And you can also opt for a retractable luggage compartment cover and a cargo rail. If you want to tow a trailer, no problem: the M-Class can pull a trailed load of up to 3.5 tonnes.
