If the dipped beams are on and the driver operates the direction indicator or turns the steering wheel when the vehicle speed is below 40 km/h, the fog lamp on the side of the vehicle into which the driver is turning will be activated as well. This provides illumination to the front left or right of the vehicle at an angle of up to 65 degrees and over a maximum distance of 30 metres.
