Economical, powerful and low in emissions: that's the newly developed 4-cylinder petrol engines with direct injection in the 250 CGI BlueEFFICIENCY. These primarily mainly impress with their direct responsiveness and smoothness of operation at all engine speeds. The E 250 CGI BlueEFFICIENCY variant supplies 150 kW and 310 Nm.

The low consumption figures for this new engine series are due in part to the relatively small displacement of 1.8 litres and turbocharger, as well as the improved CGI direct injection. By reducing the weight and the internal friction losses, the engine is particularly economical and meets the strict thresholds for consumption and emissions.
