


In the new C-Class you can choose between three different petrol engines.They are C 200 KOMPRESSOR, C 230, and C 63 AMG. They start off with three 4-cylinder supercharged engines: C 200 KOMPRESSOR. Thanks to new engine management software and a modified piston profile, output and torque have been increased. The C 200 KOMPRESSOR produces a magnificent 135 kW (184 hp) and 250 Nm. Acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h takes just 8.8 seconds, with a top speed of 230 km/h .

Refined power – in the shape of three 6-cylinder powerplant in the C 230. It embody the perfect symbiosis of refinement and fast acceleration. The maximum torque of 245 is available across a particularly wide engine speed range, ensuring impressive power reserves are on tap in any driving situation.
A further feature of the V6 engines is the exemplary fuel consumption. Thanks to the four variable camshafts with infinitely adjustable control as circumstances necessitate. Consequently, just the right amount of fuel is added as the particular driving situation demands. The C 230 delivers 150 kW (204 hp) at 6100 rpm.
All 6-cylinder versions are not particularly economical in terms of fuel consumption – they can incidentally be identified by their sporty twin-pipe exhaust system.
