Agility is a key part of the C-Class Saloon. The standard AGILITY CONTROL suspension with selective damping hardens or softens the dampers depending on the driving situation - fully automatically and separately for each wheel.

The highlight of Mercedes-Benz transmission technology is the new efficiency-optimised 7G-TRONIC automatic transmission. Seven forward gears ensure optimum engine speed and deliver virtually imperceptible gear changes. Thanks to its multiple downshift capability, the 7G-TRONIC can skip individual gears when changing down to allow rapid gearshifting.
