| The exhaust gas turbocharged forces additional air into the engine intake manifold. This compressed air is allowed to expand and cool in the intercooler which is fitted in front of the radiator. This way, the mass of the intake air is greater. Increasing fuel feed to the engine combustion chamber results in higher output. |
