There is a large selection of advanced engines to choose from for Mercedes-Benz cars. The petrol engines are available in a 4, 6, 8 or 12-cylinder version (depending on the model series) and include the new-generation V6 engines – benchmarks for economy, performance and comfort.
Particularly economical and powerful diesel models featuring the latest common-rail direct injection technology are available in 4, 6 or 8-cylinder format.
All engines meet the EU4 emission standards, and all diesel models feature as standard a particulate filter which significantly reduces particulate emissions. |
